1 Hat, 2 Hats, 3 Hats, 4 Hats, 50 Hats!!

Crochet isn't just a hobby for me, it is the way that I am healing from chronic illness. The creativity and sensory inputs of the yarn help keep me calm yet productive, while donating these items to the local community provides me with a sense of purpose and meaning as I heal.

Making 50 baby hats was a personal challenge that kind of snowballed over the past 6 weeks. Each hat will come with a small message of congratulations and best wishes from me, first name only. Like with many of my crochet community projects (cancer hats, senior lap blankets, etc.), my goal isn't to promote my business, but to bring a little joy and goodness into the world.

These hats will be heading to Guelph General Hospital and Grand River Hospital.

As for my next crochet community project, I am bringing back the Pumpkin Fairy again this fall, and might get a jump on the pumpkins for an early start.

Stay Awesome and Happy Creating :)

Ashley
